International Covenants on Economic, Social, and Cultural Rights
By virtue of that right they freely determined their political status and freely pursue their economic, social and political development. All people can freely use of their natural wealth without prejudice to any obligation arising out economic cooperation based on the principle of mutual benefit and international law and shall promote the realization of right of self-determination.
The State parties to present covenant undertake to ensure the right of men and women to the enjoyment of all economic, social and cultural rights. The steps are taken to achieve full realization of right include technical and vocational guidance and the training programmes, policies, techniques to achieve the productive employment under condition for safeguarding fundamental political and economic freedom to individual.
Each state parties recognizes the right to take part in culture life, to enjoy the benefit of scientific progress and its application, to benefit from the protection of moral and material interest, to encouragement and development of international contract in scientific and cultural field. It promotes right to education by providing compulsory primary education within its jurisdiction.
This covenant ensures the protection of economic, social and cultural right which further led to effectively exercised of political and civil rights.
